Redundancy and Redeployment. A position may become redundant if 14.1 The following redundancy and redeployment provisions apply to Employees other than casual and maximum term/specified task Employees.
14.2 The Employer will make efforts to redeploy Employees who would otherwise be retrenched where there are insufficient funds available is a redundancy.
14.3 Redeployment options will be restricted to continue the position, in the case of cessation or reduction of grant fundingpositions:

14.5 In the event an Employee accepts a lower paid role by reason of redundancy, the Employee will be given the following minimum notice before any reduction in salary or paid at the existing salary rate for the notice period, an employee whose employment contract specified below: Not more than 1 year 1 week More than 1 year but not more than 3 years 2 weeks More than 3 years but not more than 5 years 3 weeks More than 5 years 4 weeks
