Regular Contact Teaching Experience. Where a teacher has taught, as a regular contract teacher, the full-time equivalent of five (5) months or more within one school year, this shall be credited as one (1) year experience for salary purposes. Where a teacher has taught, as a regular contract teacher, the full-time equivalent of fewer than five (5) months within one school year, that time will be accumulated from year to year on a full-time equivalent basis. When the accumulated teaching time equals the full-time equivalent of five (5) months, this time shall be credited as one (1) year experience for salary grid purposes.
