Reimbursement to County for Use of County Vehicle. This provision reinforces County policy that a County vehicle shall not be used for personal business. An employee who uses a County vehicle for transportation from his/her home to the employee’s headquarters or to his/her home from the employee’s headquarters shall reimburse the County at the rate per mile as established in Section 3.A.3 above, for the use of County vehicle. Such reimbursement shall be: a. Calculated by multiplying the number of round-trip miles between the employee’s headquarters and home by the rate in Section 3.A.3 above multiplied by the number of days the employee worked in a pay period. b. Deducted from the employee’s biweekly warrant, and c. Waived only upon written authorization from the Chief Administrative Officer. The administration of this provision shall be subject to the rules and regulations of the Auditor and Controller.
