Common use of Reinstated Employees Clause in Contracts

Reinstated Employees. 14 A. Reinstatement Within One Year: Employees who are reinstated pursuant to 15 Civil Service Rules within one calendar year of the date they left County service shall, upon 16 reinstatement, be compensated at Step 1 of their respective pay range. Upon successful completion 17 of six (6) months actual service after reinstatement, they shall be compensated at the equivalent of the 18 same salary step that they were on when they left service plus any step advancement due for the 19 addition of the current service.
