Reinstatement from Leave. Upon completion of a leave of absence, the employee is to be returned to the same or similar position within the employee’s former classification. If the employee’s former classification no longer exists, the employee shall be assigned to a similar classification. If no similar classification exists, then a layoff situation may occur pursuant to Article 21, “Layoff and Recall.”
