RELIEVING IN HIGHER AND LOWER-RATED POSITIONS. (a) In the event of an employee relieving in a higher-rated job, the employee shall receive the next higher increment rate of the new position, or a minimum increase of twenty dollars ($20.00) monthly, proportionate to the time worked, whichever is greater, after not less than one (1) work day, retroactive to the start of the relief period. Maximum increment rates in the higher range shall not be exceeded by the application of this clause.
