Unpaid Leave Affecting Benefits. Any employee granted unpaid leave(s) of absence totaling up to twenty (20) work days in any year shall continue to accumulate seniority and all benefits and shall return to her/his former job. Unless otherwise mutually agreed, if unpaid leave(s) of absence exceed twenty (20) working days in any year, the employee shall not accumulate benefits from the twenty- first (21st) day of the unpaid leave to the last day of the unpaid leave, but shall accumulate benefits and receive credit for previously earned benefits upon expiration of the unpaid leave.

  • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.
