RELIEVING IN HIGHER AND LOWER-RATED POSITIONS. 22.01 In the event of an employee relieving in a higher-rated job, the employee shall receive the hourly rate of the position they are relieving for any and all hours relieving. 22.02 In cases where an employee is required to transfer temporarily to a lower-rated job, such employee shall incur no reduction in wages because of such transfer. 22.03 Employees temporarily assigned to the duties of supervisory personnel outside of the bargaining unit shall receive ten percent (10%) more than their normal rate of pay for any and all hours so assigned.
