Common use of Replacement of Damaged Uniforms and Equipment Clause in Contracts

Replacement of Damaged Uniforms and Equipment. Employee will be compensated for repair or replacement of uniforms and personal property (as identified below) damaged or destroyed in the performance of their job duties. Such items will be reimbursed at reasonable replacement value subject to limitations below. All items will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the employees’ supervisors and the Chief of Police.
