Sick Leave Incentive Pay. The plan provides for the payment of 25% of accumulated sick leave balance between 30 and 120 days, after 10 years of City service, to be paid to the employee upon termination of employment. The intent of this program continues to be an incentive to use sick leave only when required. However, sick leave incentive pay at 50% of accumulated sick leave between 30 and 120 days, after 10 years of City service, shall be provided:
Sick Leave Incentive Pay. A. Employees using 36 hours of sick leave or less during the 26 complete pay periods most closely coinciding with the beginning and end of the fiscal year and having a minimum total accumulation of 160 hours, may sell for cash the excess over 160 hours of unfrozen sick leave accumulation to a maximum established according to the following schedule: Unused Sick Leave From Current Year's Accrual Annual Maximum Sell Back 96 Hours 32 Hours From 80-95 Hours 28 Hours From 60-79 Hours 22 Hours Only the hours sold back to the City shall be deducted from the employee's accrued balance of sick leave.
Sick Leave Incentive Pay. Employees shall receive sick pay incentives as follows: Two or less sick days used = $200.00 Three sick days used = $100.00 Sick Leave incentives are to be computed on an annual basis and will be paid in July for the preceding fiscal year. Personal day(s) and Funeral Leave shall not count as missed days for the purpose of calculating the bonus days. Sick days used under the terms of Article 36 also do not count as “sick days used.”
Sick Leave Incentive Pay. Teachers shall receive sick leave accumulation incentive pay for achieving certain benchmarked accumulation days. The payments are not cumulative and a teacher is only eligible to receive a payment one time for reaching the below benchmarked sick leave accumulation: A. 300 days = $3,000.00 B. 350 days = $2,000.00 C. 400 days = $2,000.00
Sick Leave Incentive Pay. (A) 56 Hour Work Week - Sworn members of the Fire Department working on a twenty-four (24) hour shift basis using forty-eight (48) hours of sick leave or less may convert fifty percent (50%) of their remaining yearly sick leave at annual base salary. Remaining yearly sick leave not converted to pay shall be carried over and accumulated for use when needed. Sick Leave Incentive Pay. Any certificated employee not using his/her leave for sixty (60) consecutive work days (excluding holidays and non-contract days) shall be entitled to an incentive increase of three and 75/100 dollars ($3.75) per day for each day worked during the sixty (60) day period. This incentive pertains to the base program year.
Sick Leave Incentive Pay. As an incentive to conserve sick leave, the City agrees to reimburse Employees effective June 1, 2014 • Payment under this plan will be the equivalent of one work week’s regular pay (42 hours) per year which will be used to calculate payment under this revised sick leave incentive plan. • All Employees who have not utilized sick leave since July 1, 2013 shall be paid the differential available under this new plan for all payments made under the old plan • All other Employees who currently have uninterrupted work days without sick leave use shall be credited the time (not already paid through the sick leave incentive plan in effect in the prior contract) • Incentive payments are to be paid at the Employee’s pro-rated hourly wage based on a monthly percentage rate beginning at the third consecutive month of non-sick leave use in accordance with the schedule listed below: 3 consecutive months of no sick leave 15% of their regular weekly salary 4 consecutive months no sick leave 20% of their regular weekly salary 5 consecutive months of no sick leave 30% of their regular weekly salary 6 consecutive months of no sick leave 40% of their regular weekly salary 7 consecutive months of no sick leave 50% of their regular weekly salary 8 consecutive months of no sick leave 60% of their regular weekly salary 9 consecutive months of no sick leave 70% of their regular weekly salary 10 consecutive months of no sick leave 80% of their regular weekly salary 11 consecutive months of no sick leave 90% of their regular weekly salary 12 consecutive months of no sick leave 100% of their regular weekly salary Payments over one sick leave incentive year shall only be issued upon the break of consecutive non-sick leave usage. Use of no less than one (1) day of applicable sick leave (or additional consecutive days of sick leave use) shall cause the employee to renew his/her sick leave incentive year. Sick leave incentive eligibility shall restart on the next calendar day following the last day of sick leave or shall begin no later than the next calendar day following twelve (12) consecutive months of non-sick leave use. Employees meeting this criteria must submit their written request for said reimbursement. It is understood that sick leave used in conjunction with receiving Workers’ Compensation benefits shall not be considered sick leave solely for the purpose of receiving the sick leave incentive.
Sick Leave Incentive Pay. 1. Employees using 40 or fewer hours of sick leave during the fiscal year may convert 50% of their remaining accrued sick leave up to a maximum of 50% of an employee’s annual rate of accrual (i.e. 50% of 96 hours). Sick leave not converted to pay shall be carried over and accumulated for use when needed. For purposes of this section, sick leave used in relation to a death in the immediate family as provided in Article 9, shall not be counted against the forty (40) or fewer hour eligibility limit on sick leave usage.
Sick Leave Incentive Pay. For each six (6) months in which the Member records perfect attendance (exclusive of on the job injuries and bereavement leave) such employee shall receive $100.00. Holidays, Vacation, Compensatory Time and Personal days taken shall not count against perfect attendance.
Sick Leave Incentive Pay. Employees who use no sick leave for their own or family sick leave, either for illness or medical or other appointments, in the course of a semi-annual period beginning either January 1 or July 1 of each year shall receive payment for eight (8) hours of Sick Leave Incentive Pay at the end of the period (either June 30 or December 31 as appropriate). Transfer of sick leave for illness of other City employees shall not be considered use of sick leave by the donating Employee for purposes of the Sick Leave Incentive Pay. Such Sick Leave Incentive Pay shall be calculated by multiplying Employee’s Basic Pay rate, including Alternative Assignment Pay, which was in effect during the last full pay period of the semi-annual period (either June 30 or December 31 depending on the period) times eight (8). Special pays, such as Shift Differential Pay, overtime, out of class, or any other pay shall not be part of the basis for this calculation. Payment shall be made by a separate check from pay for regular hours and be made in conjunction with payment for CTO and unused Holiday Time Bank. Such check will be issued prior to the end of the month following the end of the semi-annual period.
