Replacing Appliances. At our absolute sole discretion, if we are unable to repair your appliance, we may arrange a replacement or provide you with vouchers that are valid with a retailer of our choice. The cost of the replacement or the value of the vouchers will reflect the value of your appliance, minus any betterment, which may be applied at 10% per annum from the expiry of the appliance’s original manufacturer’s guarantee period. You will be responsible for disposing of the original equipment and you may also be required to pay for the delivery and installation charges.

HOW TO MAKE A CHANGE Please phone the administrator on 0800 6696875 from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm Monday to Friday. The administrator will tell you if the new kitchen appliance is acceptable and whether it makes a difference to your premium. If you have an annual insurance, the new kitchen appliance can be included in your insurance and shown in the schedule from the date you register but you may be asked to pay an additional premium. If accepted by the administrator, cover for the new kitchen appliance will begin 30 days after the date it is added to your insurance and shown in your schedule or at the expiry of the manufacturer’s guarantee, whichever is the later. COOLING OFF PERIOD AND CANCELLATIONS We sincerely hope that you are more than happy with the support that this Service Contract provides. However, if after reading this Service Contract, it does not meet your requirements, please return it to Domestic Cover, c/o the Providers within fourteen (14) days of issue and we will refund your fees in full. No refund of fees will be considered if a claim has been made under your contract. You may not make any claims under this Service Contract until after the thirty (30) days have passed from the date of your first Fee Payment. Where your Service Contract is cancelled within the cancellation period and you have not made a claim, you will receive a refund of any fee you have paid to us and your Service Contract will be cancelled immediately. The maximum cancellation fee repayable will be £175 and is applied for each 12-month period from your commencement date. This fee is for anyone that has made a claim or has had a service from us in any period.

  • Orthotic Appliances Coverage for Orthotic Appliances is limited to custom-made leg, arm, back and neck braces, when related to a surgical procedure or when used in an attempt to avoid surgery, and is necessary to carry out normal activities of daily living excluding sports activities. Coverage includes the initial purchase, fitting or adjustment. Replacements are covered only when Medically Necessary due to a change in bodily configuration. All other Orthotic Appliances are not covered. The determination of whether a covered item will be paid under the DME, orthotics or prosthetics benefits will be based upon its classification as defined by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

  • Accessories The following described related accessories, if any: window air conditioning units, stove, fireplace screens, curtains and rods, blinds, window shades, draperies and rods, door keys, mailbox keys, above ground pool, swimming pool equipment and maintenance accessories, artificial fireplace logs, and controls for: (i) garage doors, (ii) entry gates, and (iii) other improvements and accessories.
