Common use of Report-In Pay Clause in Contracts

Report-In Pay. Report-in pay applies only to a full-time non-seasonal employee in a D-level classification as provided in Appendix B. When an employee eligible for report-in pay reports for work on his/her assigned shift and has not received written notification from the Appointing Authority or his/her designee by the previous workday not to report, he/she shall be assigned at least three (3) hours of work at any available job, or in the event that no work is available, he/she shall be paid three (3) hours straight-time at his/her regular hourly rate and released from duty no more than thirty (30) minutes after the report-in time. All written notices not to report shall be countersigned by the employee affected. This Section shall not apply in hazardous weather conditions, power failure, equipment failure, work stoppages or other conditions beyond the immediate control of the City.
