Common use of Reporting of Absences Clause in Contracts

Reporting of Absences. Principals shall timely enter absences into the District's electronic principal attendance system for non-duty days, compensatory non-duty days or accumulative leave days. Absences should be entered in advance of the absence whenever possible, but in the event of emergency circumstances should be entered within 48 hours of the absence. Absences of three (3) or more consecutive days during student contact time require the advance approval of the Superintendent or his/her designee, and should be submitted as far in advance as possible. Failure to comply with the reporting requirements of this section may lead to disciplinary action.
