Reporting periods and Reviews. In ShaleXenvironment, a reporting period covers 18 months and ends with the submission of a periodic report to the European Commission. There are two 18-months reporting periods in ShaleXenvironment. Period 1 Months 1 to 18 1st September 2014 – 28th February 2017 Period 2 Months 19 to 36 1st March 2017 – 31st August 2018 In parallel to the drafting and submission of the periodic reports, the European Commission may carry out a formal Review of the project in Brussels at month 19 (February 2017) and at month 36 (August 2018).
