Request for Membership. Any political subdivision in Oakland County that has law enforcement personnel and provides law enforcement services may be eligible to become a Voting Member of OAK-TAC. This includes colleges and universities in Oakland County that provide public safety coverage through the use of sworn police personnel. Any other legal entity whose membership would benefit OAK-TAC through training, partnerships, or other supporting functions, may be eligible to become a Non-Voting Member of OAK-TAC. All requests for membership shall be made in writing to the Secretary of OAK-TAC stating the prospective member’s ability to meet all of the requirements set forth in the Agreement. The request must be made by an authorized xxxxxx from the prospective member.

  • Request for a Panel 1. Unless the Parties agree on a different period for consultations, a complaining Party may request in writing the establishment of a Panel if the consultation referred to in the Article 176 (Consultations) fails to resolve a matter within 60 days, after the date of receipt of the request for consultations or 50 days in case of urgent matters. 2. The complaining Party shall deliver the request to the other Party, indicating at least, the reason of the request, the identification of the measure, an indication of the provision of this Agreement that it considers relevant and an indication of the legal basis of the complaint. The Panel will be considered as established on the date of receipt of the corresponding request to the other Party. 3. Unless otherwise agreed by the disputing Parties, the Panel shall be selected and perform its functions in a manner consistent with the provisions of this Chapter.

  • Request for Hearing The employee must file a written request for hearing within fifteen calendar days of receipt of the Notice of Dismissal or Suspension. Filing means receipt in the office designated no later than regular close of business on the last day of the filing period. Failure to file such request in a timely manner shall be deemed a waiver of the right to a hearing and the proposed action shall be effective upon action by the Governing Board without notice or hearing except as may be required in a board meeting agenda.

  • Request for Extension Upon request, the Department may extend the time allowed for both a response to the Letter of Concern and a Corrective Action Plan depending upon the nature of the deficiency. The Provider shall request an extension of time in writing from the Department’s designated representative. The written request shall contain a justification and proposed extension period.

  • Request for Waiver A. Prior to submission of a request for a partial or total waiver, Bidder/Contractor shall speak to the Designated Contacts of the OGS Office of Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises for guidance. B. In accordance with 5 NYCRR § 142.7, a Bidder/Contractor who is able to document good faith efforts to meet the goal requirements, as set forth in clause VII below, may submit a request for a partial or total waiver on Form BDC 333, accompanied by supporting documentation. A Bidder may submit the request for waiver at the same time it submits its MWBE Utilization Plan. If a request for waiver is submitted with the MWBE Utilization Plan and is not accepted by OGS at that time, the provisions of clauses V(C), (D) & (E) will apply. D. If OGS, upon review of the MWBE Utilization Plan and Monthly MWBE Contractor Compliance Reports determines that Contractor is failing or refusing to comply with the contract goals and no waiver has been issued in regards to such non-compliance, OGS may issue a notice of deficiency to the Contractor. The Contractor must respond to the notice of deficiency within seven (7) business days of receipt. Such response may include a request for partial or total waiver of MWBE contract goals.

  • Committee Membership 1. Local representatives on committees specifically established by this Collective Agreement shall be appointed by the local. 2. In addition, if the employer wishes to establish a committee which includes bargaining unit members, it shall notify the local about the mandate of the committee, and the local shall appoint the representatives. The local will consider the mandate of the committee when appointing the representatives. If the employer wishes to discuss the appointment of a representative, the superintendent, or designate, and the president or designate of the local may meet and discuss the matter. 3. Release time with pay shall be provided by the employer to any employee who is a representative on a committee referred to in Article A.5.1 and A.5.2 above, in order to attend meetings that occur during normal instructional hours. Teacher teaching on call (TTOC) costs shall be borne by the employer. 4. When a TTOC is appointed to a committee referred to in Article A.5.1 and A.5.2 above, and the committee meets during normal instructional hours, the TTOC shall be paid pursuant to the provisions in each district respecting TTOC Pay and Benefits. A TTOC attending a “half day” meeting shall receive a half day’s pay. If the meeting extends past a “half day,” the TTOC shall receive a full day’s pay.

  • Request for Purchase The Company may from time to time during the Issuance Period make requests for purchases of Private Shelf Notes (each such request being herein called a “REQUEST FOR PURCHASE”). Each Request for Purchase shall be made to Prudential by telecopier and confirmed by nationwide overnight delivery service, and shall (i) specify the aggregate principal amount of Private Shelf Notes covered thereby, which shall not be less than $5,000,000 and shall not be greater than the Available Facility Amount at the time such Request for Purchase is made, (ii) specify the principal amounts, final maturities, principal prepayment dates and amounts and interest payment periods (quarterly in arrears) of the Private Shelf Notes covered thereby, (iii) specify the use of proceeds of such Private Shelf Notes, (iv) specify the proposed day for the closing of the purchase and sale of such Private Shelf Notes, which shall be a Business Day during the Issuance Period not more than thirty (30) days after the making of such Request for Purchase and in any event not less than three (3) days after any Acceptance with respect to such Request for Purchase under paragraph 2E, (v) specify the number of the account and the name and address of the depository institution to which the purchase prices of such Private Shelf Notes are to be transferred on the Private Shelf Closing Day for such purchase and sale, (vi) certify that the representations and warranties contained in paragraph 8 hereof are true on and as of the date of such Request for Purchase except to the extent of changes caused by the transactions herein contemplated and that there exists on the date of such Request for Purchase no Event of Default or Default (and that no Event of Default or Default shall arise as the result of the purchase and sale of such Private Shelf Notes), and (vii) be substantially in the form of EXHIBIT B attached hereto. Each Request for Purchase shall be in writing and shall be deemed made when received by Prudential.

  • Request for Consent If Tenant requests Landlord's consent to a Transfer, then, at least 15 business days prior to the effective date of the proposed Transfer, Tenant shall provide Landlord with a written description of all terms and conditions of the proposed Transfer, copies of the proposed documentation, and the following information about the proposed transferee: name and address; reasonably satisfactory information about its business and business history; its proposed use of the Premises; banking, financial, and other credit information; and general references sufficient to enable Landlord to determine the proposed transferee's creditworthiness and character. Concurrently with Tenant's notice of any request for consent to a Transfer, Tenant shall pay to Landlord a fee of $1,000 to defray Landlord's expenses in reviewing such request, and Tenant shall also reimburse Landlord immediately upon request for its reasonable attorneys' fees incurred in connection with considering any request for consent to a Transfer.
