Required Training / Certifications a. Where practical, all required training shall be conducted during the Regular Scheduled Training Periods. All volunteers who are involved in fire suppression shall complete all designated required training and certifications as outlined below: i. Shall obtain within the first year of service, a minimum driver’s licence classification of DZ. The Employer agrees to pay for the initial medical to meet Ministry of Transportation requirements. Any other costs required to upgrade or maintain the minimum licence class of DZ shall be paid by the volunteer. ii. Annually – Self-contained Breathing Apparatus Training / Re-certification. iii. Maintain their Certification in the Emergency Patient Care, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Operation of Semi-Automatic Defibrillators. Failure to meet the above required training / certification requirements will result in discipline up to and including termination. The City agrees to provide the volunteer fire fighters the following pay; 1. Annually, each Officer and Fire fighter (without rank) will receive an honorarium payment which shall be payable as defined below: a. The City will budget a lump sum value to be distributed among volunteers, (excluding the Fire Prevention Officer, Training Officer, Medical Officer, and Station Commander) and such funds will be distributed using the points system as follows; Fire fighter (without rank) 2 pts 4 pts Lieutenant 3 pts 5 pts Captain 4 pts 6 pts i. Required Training / Certifications. (a) Where practical, all required training shall be conducted during the Regular Scheduled Training Periods. All firefighters who are involved in fire suppression shall complete all designated required training and certifications as per policy. (b) Shall obtain within the first year of service, a minimum driver’s license classification of “DZ”. The Employer agrees to pay for the initial medical to meet Ministry of Transportation requirements. Any other costs required to upgrade or maintain the minimum license class of “DZ” shall be paid by the firefighter. (c) All firefighters shall be provided and maintain their certification in the standard industry recognized and approved First-Aid, and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. The cost associated with the certifications/re-certification shall be paid by the Employer. Firefighters who attend such certifications/re-certification shall be paid for time spent during the certifications/re-certification. (d) All firefighters must receive all Minimum Certification Standards required under O. Reg. 343/22: FIREFIGHTER CERTIFICATION, as amended from time to time, based on the level of fire protection services required by the Town. Failure to meet the required training/certification requirements will result in discipline up to and including termination for cause.

  • CHILD SUPPORT CERTIFICATION Under Section 231.006, Texas Family Code, the Engineer certifies that the individual or business entity named in this contract, bid, or application is not ineligible to receive the specified grant, loan, or payment and acknowledges that this contract may be terminated and payment may be withheld if this certification is inaccurate. If the above certification is shown to be false, the Engineer is liable to the state for attorney’s fees, the cost necessary to complete the contract, including the cost of advertising and awarding a second contract, and any other damages provided by law or the contract. A child support obligor or business entity ineligible to receive payments because of a payment delinquency of more than thirty (30) days remains ineligible until: all arrearages have been paid; the obligor is in compliance with a written repayment agreement or court order as to any existing delinquency; or the court of continuing jurisdiction over the child support order has granted the obligor an exemption from Subsection (a) of Section 231.006, Texas Family Code, as part of a court- supervised effort to improve earnings and child support payments.

  • Required Certifications A bidder who makes a false certification on the Bidder Certification of the Prequalification Classification and Work Capacity Form will be subject to forfeiture of his bid bond and/or disqualification from bidding on future work for a 90 day period, or both. The Contracting Officer will determine the imposition and the extent of such sanctions. A sworn statement shall be executed by the bidder or his agent on behalf of each person, firm, association, or corporation submitting a bid. The statement shall certify that the person, firm, association, or corporation has not, either directly or indirectly, entered into any agreement, participated in any collusion, or otherwise taken any action to restrain free competitive bidding in connection with the proposal. The sworn statement shall be part of the bid or in the form of an affidavit and shall be sworn to before a person who is authorized by the laws of the State to administer oaths. The bids shall contain the identical sworn statement. For the purpose of this Section, affixing digital ID to the bid will be considered by the Department conditional evidence of signing before a person who is authorized by the laws of the Commonwealth to administer oaths. The original of the sworn statement shall be filed with the Department when the bid is submitted.

  • Drug-Free Workplace Certification As required by Executive Order No. 90-5 dated April 12, 1990, issued by the Governor of Indiana, the Company hereby covenants and agrees to make a good faith effort to provide and maintain a drug-free workplace at the Project Location. The Company will give written notice to the IEDC within ten (10) days after receiving actual notice that the Company, or an employee of the Company in the State of Indiana, has been convicted of a criminal drug violation occurring in the workplace. False certification or violation of this certification may result in sanctions including, but not limited to, suspension of payments under the Agreement, termination of the Agreement and/or debarment of contracting opportunities with the State for up to three (3) years. In addition to the provisions of the above paragraph, if the total amount set forth in the Agreement is in excess of $25,000.00, the Company agrees that it will provide a drug-free workplace by: A. Publishing and providing to all of its employees a statement notifying them that the unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensing, possession or use of a controlled substance is prohibited in the Company’s workplace, and specifying the actions that will be taken against employees for violations of such prohibition;

  • New Certifications If a participating Employer is newly certified by ONA at one of its owned nursing homes for its registered nurses, the existing standard non-monetary provisions in the central ONA/RN agreements will automatically apply to the nurses effective nine (9) months after the Employer receives notice to bargain from the Union or a Memorandum of Agreement or Interest Arbitration Award is received, whichever is earlier.   • Recertification Upon expiration of the time period which the health care provider originally estimated that the employee needed for his/her own serious health condition, the City may require the employee to obtain recertification if additional leave is requested.

  • Lobbying Certification This certification is a material representation of fact upon which reliance was placed when this transaction was made or entered into. Submission of this certification is a prerequisite for making or entering into this transaction imposed by section 1352, title 31, U.S.C. Any person who fails to file the required certification shall be subject to a civil penalty of not less than $10,000 and not more than $100,000 for each such failure.

  • Compliance Certification From time to time the Sub-Adviser shall provide such certifications with respect to Rule 38a-1 under the 1940 Act, as are reasonably requested by the Fund or the Manager. In addition, the Sub-Adviser will, from time to time, provide a written assessment of its compliance program in conformity with current industry standards that is reasonably acceptable to the Fund to enable the Fund to fulfill its obligations under Rule 38a-1 under the 1940 Act.
