Requirements on Contractors. To facilitate the dispatch of Local Hires, all Contractors will be required to utilize the Craft Employee Request Form whenever they are requesting the referral of any employee from a Union referral list for Project Work, a sample of which is attached as “Attachment C.” When Local Hires are requested by Contractors, the Unions will refer such craft workers regardless of their place in the Unions’ hiring halls’ list and normal referral procedures.

Requirements on Contractors. To facilitate the dispatch of Targeted Workers and veterans, all Contractors will be required to utilize, and Unions shall accept and refer workers based on, the Craft Employee Request Form (Attached as Attachment E) for the relevant component of the Project, whenever they are requesting the referral of any employee from a Union referral list for any Project Work. When Targeted Workers, including SCCCD Graduates, District Residents and veterans, are requested by the Contractors, the Unions will refer such workers consistent with Section 3.6 (a) above.

  • Contractors All LAUSD Contractors and their Representatives are expected to conduct any and all business affiliated with LAUSD in an ethical and responsible manner that fosters integrity and public confidence.   • SUB-CONTRACTORS Transfer Agent may, without further consent on the part of Customer, subcontract with other subcontractors for telephone and mailing services as may be required from time to time; provided, however, that the Transfer Agent shall be as fully responsible to the Customer for the acts and omissions of any subcontractor as it is for its own acts and omissions.
