Research Topics Clause Samples
The 'Research topics' clause defines the specific subjects or areas that are to be investigated or explored under an agreement. It typically outlines the scope of research, listing particular themes, questions, or fields that the parties have agreed to focus on during the project. For example, in a collaborative research contract, this clause might specify that the research will center on renewable energy technologies or public health interventions. Its core function is to ensure clarity and mutual understanding about the direction and boundaries of the research, thereby preventing misunderstandings or disputes about the project's objectives.
Research Topics. The activities of the Laboratory concern the following research arguments:
Research Topics. Theoretical and experimental research covered under the Agreement will be in the areas of Materials Science and Technology. The following topics will be covered specifically, but not exclusively, by this Agreement: Active or Smart materials, Nanomaterials and nanostructures, Advanced functional materials for specific applications, Magnetic shape memory effect and alloys, Magnetic functional materials. This Agreement is valid for 4 (four) years after the date of signing. This Agreement may be prolonged by so stated in written form one month before the end of it, if the two parties consider it necessary and profitable. Cooperative activities under this Agreement are subject to and dependent upon the availability of appropriated funds, personnel, and resources. Neither Party is required to obligate funds pursuant to this Agreement. Except when otherwise specifically agrees in writing, all costs resulting from cooperation shall be borne by the Party that incurs them. In particular, whenever a delegation / exchange of staff is contemplated under this Agreement, the sending Party shall be responsible for the salaries, insurance, and benefits to be paid to its personnel.
Research Topics. Relevant topics for the strengthened research effort are: Research into climate change at regional and global level. Research on and monitoring of climate processes and the impacts of climate change in the High North has special priority. The impacts of and adaptation to climate change, among other things for society and the business sector. Social science research that can give more insight into decision-making processes and framework conditions in climate policy. Development of climate-friendly technology. Renewable energy. Development of commercial activities based on the development of climate- friendly technology.
Research Topics. As part of the US SHRP2 study (see Section 2.2) a comprehensive list of research questions for an ND research study were developed, consisting of a total of more than 400 questions. With this list as a source of referencing, PROLOGUE took a somewhat different approach to identify the potential research questions, namely by defining the research topics in terms of combinations of
1) Eight categories of driving behaviour and driver states:
a. Distraction and inattention
b. Fatigue, sleepiness and other impairments
c. Decision-making, driving errors, driving style, and general driving perform- ance
