The necessary financial adjustments of the financial contribution of the Union will be made with the final payment. − In addition, the researcher entitled to the monthly mobility allowance, shall also receive a travel allowance calculated on the distance between his/her location of origin and the beneficiary’s premises where he/she is carrying out the initial training activities for every period of 12 months, which in case of split stays will be calculated cumulatively, or less when the last period is less than 12 months. The first travel allowance should be paid first upon taking up appointment and yearly after. The rates applicable are those established in the Work Programme and are based upon the distance (as the crow flies) in kilometres between the location of origin and the beneficiary’s premises. In case of secondment, the correction coefficients are applied with reference to the premises where the researcher is carrying out his/her secondment period.

  • PROCEDURE FOR GRIEVANCES AFFECTING A GROUP OF EMPLOYEES The Union may elect to file a grievance on behalf of two or more employees. The facts and issues of the grievance must be the same.

  • Leave Without Pay An employee shall not be entitled to payment for a public holiday falling during a period of leave without pay (including sick leave and military leave without pay) unless the employee has worked during the fortnight ending on the day on which the holiday is observed.

  • Authorized Leave Without Pay A. Agency/Departmental Leave‌ A regular, limited-term or probationary employee may request an agency/departmental leave without pay for a period of time not to exceed fifteen (15) calendar days. The granting of such Leave shall be at the discretion of the agency/department, except in cases where Official Leave has been authorized pursuant to B.4., B.5. and Sections 10, 11.A. and 14, below. The agency/department head may require that all accumulated compensatory leave time be used prior to granting of agency/departmental leave. The use of earned vacation or annual leave prior to the obtaining of agency/departmental leave shall be at the option of the employee.

  • Termination Without Default TFC may, at its sole option and discretion, terminate this Contract at any time, for any reason whatsoever, in whole or in part, by giving written notice (the “Notice of Termination”) to Contractor at least thirty (30) days prior to the effective date of termination or reduction in the scope of work. In the event of termination by TFC under this subsection, Contractor shall be governed by the terms and conditions, and shall perform the acts outlined in the following Section 2.3(c) below.
