Common use of Responsibility Pay Clause in Contracts

Responsibility Pay. (a) When the Employer temporarily assigns an Employee to carry out the assigned responsibilities of a higher paying position in the bargaining unit for a period of one (1) full shift or more, he shall be paid at the salary rate step which is immediately above his normal permanent position salary rate in the salary range of the higher rated position.

Responsibility Pay.
