Common use of Rest Day Clause in Contracts

Rest Day. (1) Every employee shall be entitled to one rest day in each week. (2) The weekly rest day for an employee who is engaged in shift work shall be determined by a duty roster which shall be drawn up in accordance with the Employment Act and displayed on the notice board. (3) Any change to such drawn up duty roster shall be notified to the employee at least seven days in advance.
