Common use of Rest Day Clause in Contracts

Rest Day. (1) Every employee shall be entitled to one (1) rest day per week. (2) The weekly rest day for an employee who is on shift duty shall be determined in accordance with a duty roster drawn up in accordance with the Employment Act. (3) An employee shall be notified at least one (1) week in advance of any change in such duty roster drawn up.
