Rest Pauses. a) 27.1 An employee who works 6 to 8 ordinary hours inclusive in any day Employee shall be entitled to a paid rest pause of 15 minutes duration. bten (10) An employee who works more than 8 ordinary hours on any one day shall be entitled to an additional paid rest pause of 15 minutes duration on in the first and second half of their daily work. c27.2 The two (2) All rest pauses may be combined into a single 20 minute rest pause by the Employer if necessary to meet operational requirements. 27.3 Rest pauses shall be taken at such time times directed by the Employer in order to suit the convenience of the Employer and so as not to interfere with the continuity of work where continuity is necessarywork.
