Meal Breaks and Rest Pauses. There will be a meal break and a rest pause for each shift or day where a minimum of eight hours are worked are worked Monday to Friday. In the circumstances where an Employee is required to work more than 8 hours Overtime on either Saturday or Sunday, a meal will be provided or a payment of $10.20 in lieu will be made. The times of taking the breaks will be as agreed between Lis-Con Concrete Construction Pty Ltd and the majority of Employees affected.

5.2.1 This clause applies to employees who are teachers
(a) Meal Breaks
(i) Teachers are entitled to an unpaid meal break of at least thirty (30) continuous minutes duration per day.
(ii) Where supervision or other duties have been rostered within the normal timetabled meal break, an alteration to the provision of the minimum unpaid meal break (thirty (30) minutes) may be achieved through consultation with teachers, provided that:
(A) all teachers receive a minimum continuous meal break of twenty (20) minutes per day; and
(B) total period for meal breaks is no less than one hundred and fifty (150) minutes per teacher per week. This cannot be averaged over a longer period.
(iii) Where teachers in specialist roles are required to perform duties throughout the course of scheduled meal breaks, a meal break of at least thirty (30) minutes shall be provided at an alternative time determined by agreement between the principal and individual teachers.
Meal Breaks and Rest Pauses. If an employee, including a casual employee is required to work for six or more hours in a day, he or she must be given an unpaid meal break no less than 30 minutes. The break must be given no later than six hours after starting work.
Meal Breaks and Rest Pauses. 10.1 The roster principles set out in Clause 8 - Hours of Work, shall be applicable provided that:
(a) An employee who works more than five hours shall be provided with an unpaid meal break of between 30 minutes’ duration. However, by mutual agreement an employee who works for more than 5 hours but less than 6 hours is not required to take a meal break.
(b) An employee working in excess of 10 hours on any one day will be provided with an additional unpaid break of thirty minutes.

(a) Day Workers
(1) Each day worker shall be allowed a thirty (30) minute unpaid meal break during each ordinary working day.
(2) An employee who is required to continue working during the employee's normal meal break shall be paid at the appropriate overtime rate until the employee is released for the meal break.
(b) Shift Workers Each shift worker shall be allowed a thirty (30) minute paid meal break during each ordinary working shift.
