Common use of Restitution of Annual Leave Clause in Contracts

Restitution of Annual Leave. Where an Officer who is on paid annual leave becomes entitled to sick leave or maternity leave while on such annual leave, the Officer shall be granted the sick leave or maternity leave, as the case may be, and the annual leave shall be deemed to have not been taken in respect of the days for which sick leave or maternity leave is so granted. Provided that such leave shall not be automatically utilized to extend the approved annual leave or maternity leave without the approval of the Bank.
