Common use of Retention of Seniority Rights Clause in Contracts

Retention of Seniority Rights. In the event that the Employer shall merge, amalgamate or combine any of its operations or functions with another Employer, the Employer agrees to the retention of seniority rights for all employees coming within the new bargaining unit of the successor Employer.
