Return to Work After Leave of Absence. Employees returning from leaves of absence will be reinstated to the same position the employee held when the leave commenced, or in the event that the position has been eliminated to an equivalent position for which the employee is qualified. If no position is available, the employee will be considered to have been laid off.

If no position is availablereinstatement, the employee they will be considered to have been laid offbe on layoff with rights to return in accordance with the recall procedure.
