Common use of Returning from Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Returning from Sick Leave. The Parties agree that it is in their mutual interest to be assured that when an employee returns to work after sick leave or disability leave that such employee is capable of performing his job responsibilities. Accordingly, an employee may be required by the administration, to provide a medical certificate from the employees’ treating physician, verifying that the employee is capable of performing his job duties. Such medical certificate shall be provided prior to the employee returning to work.
