Returning Prior to Expiration of Leave. If an ESP submits a written request to the Superintendent indicating a desire to return to duty prior to the expiration of a leave, he/she shall be reinstated provided a suitable vacancy exists. Upon reinstatement, the employee shall waive his/her right to the previously held position. For ESPs, all provisions of Article XII (Leaves of Absence) may be extended by the Superintendent.
