Review of credit for prior experience. Within 30 days of their hire with PeaceHealth, or transfer to a new pay grade as outlined in appendix B, an employee who disagrees with their step placement may request a review by Human Resources. For each request received the Employer will review such request and respond within 30 days.

Review of credit for prior experience. Within 60 days following their ratification, employees will have a one-time opportunity to request that they be placed at a higher step based on their years of relevant experience. For each request received the Employer will review such request and respond within 30 days. Any adjustments will be retroactively paid back to the first full pay period following ratification. Those still eligible for a lump sum increase will receive the lump sum increase after the review process concludes. All determinations reached during the review process are final and not subject to the grievance process outlined in article 15.

Review of credit for prior experience. Within ninety (90) days following their placement on the wage scale, caregivers will have a one-time opportunity to provide evidence of additional relevant experience that would justify placement on a higher scale. After this ninety (90) day period expires, the opportunity to be upgraded to a higher scale will expire. For each request received, the Employer will determine, within ninety (90) days, whether an upward adjustment in wage scale placement is warranted, up to a maximum increase of an additional one and one-half percent (1.5%). The effective date for implementing such an adjustment will be the first full pay period following the determination of all requests.

  • Credit for Prior Experience Credit shall be given new employees in initial step placement of the wage scale set forth in Appendix A for prior experience directly related to the same classification. Credit for prior experience which is somewhat related to the position for which the applicant applies will be granted on a basis of one (1) year credit for two (2) years’ experience.

  • CREDIT FOR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE All employees shall be classified according to previous comparable supermarket experience. Previous comparable experience shall be granted on the following basis:

  • Credit for Experience 1. Newly employed teachers will receive the equivalent year's credit for each year of experience. The experience granted will be equal to the FTE experience for each year worked. This credit will be granted if, in the judgment of the Superintendent, the teaching experience has been appropriate to the position which has been offered. For example, teaching experience at the secondary level may not be appropriate if the applicant is being considered for an elementary position. Placement on the salary schedule will be accomplished in the following manner:
