Common use of Reviewing of Personnel File Clause in Contracts

Reviewing of Personnel File. An employee has the right to review their personnel file within five (5) working days of requesting it in writing to the Chief Administrative Officer, or their designate. An employee who has been terminated by the Employer may review their file within two (2) working days of their termination date. When reviewing their files they shall do so in the presence of the Employer and shall have the right to Union representation. The employee shall have the right to make copies of any material contained in his/her personnel record.
