REVISION OF WAGES. (i) Other General Employees 40. Monthly rated and daily rated employees (other than field employees) specified in Appendix “C” to this Agreement should be entitled to an increase in their wages based on the following formula :- Monthly: 10% x Present Basic Monthly Wage Daily: 10% x (Present Wage – RM13.50) + RM1.50 rounded off to the nearest 5 sen for daily rated employees and to the nearest RM1.00 for monthly rated employees. The daily rate for the latter shall be determined by dividing the monthly rate by 26.

Increase of wages depends on budget and work performance. If the Employer decides to increase wages, the officially published inflation rate for a 12-month period or growth of living costs (“consumer basket”) may be taken as a basis for the increase.
