TRANSPORT SUBSIDY. The parties agree to the current transport allowance of R180.00 per month which is provided to employees using their own transport, to be increased to R200 per month effective 1 July 2013. The parties confirm that the status quo will remain as to the current subsidy received by employees who make use of public transport, which is 50% of current transport fee.

TRANSPORT SUBSIDY. Introduction To compensate WCAs who have to travel to Delivery Points greater than specified distances the WDA pays transport subsidies. The relevant provision in law is detailed in the Environmental Protection Act 1990 as shown below :- Environmental Protection Xxx 0000 Section 52(10) – “A Waste disposal authority shall pay to a Waste collection authority a reasonable contribution towards expenditure reasonably incurred by a Waste collection authority in delivering Waste, in pursuance of a direction under section 51 (4)(a) above, to a place which is unreasonably far from the Waste collection authority’s area”.
TRANSPORT SUBSIDY. 5.2.1 Employees who do not utilise Company’s transport either free or on payment of nominal or subsidised rate will be paid transport subsidy at the rate of Rs.7/- per day of actual attendance w.e.f. 1.7.
