Common use of RIGHTS OF THE GRIEVANT(S) AND ASSOCIATION Clause in Contracts

RIGHTS OF THE GRIEVANT(S) AND ASSOCIATION. A. The grievant has the right to Association representation at Step One through Step Four hearings involving the grievance. B. The Association has the exclusive right to file grievances and to be present for the adjustment of any and all grievances. The Association shall be provided copies of all documents related to all grievances including settlement proposals, related Memorandum of Understanding and final settlement document. The Association shall be party to all grievances. The terms, conditions and provisions of all grievance settlements shall be subject to the approval of the Association. C. Grievance forms shall be attached as an Exhibit of this Agreement and it shall be the exclusive right of the Association and building administration to issue forms to grievants. D. Meetings and hearings held under the grievance procedure shall be conducted at a mutually agreed upon time and place which will afford a fair and reasonable opportunity for all persons entitled to be present to attend. E. A grievance may be withdrawn by the grievant at any time without prejudice.
