Rights Upon Re-employment. A person reemployed from a layoff list will, upon resumption of his/her duties, be fully restored as a permanent employee and the break in service will be disregarded.

Rights Upon Re-employment. Employees re-employed after termination of employment shall be considered new probationary employees, except that this section shall not affect re-employed employees’ rights to prior state service credit for the purpose of establishing annual leave accrual rates, in accordance with this Article and applicable regulations.
Rights Upon Re-employment. Employees rehired from a layoff list shall be re-employed at the same salary step of the class they occupied immediately prior to layoff and have the same employment status (i.e. probationary, permanent) as when they were laid off. They shall also have all rights and benefits, as when they were laid off, with the exception that they do not earn seniority credits or other benefits.
