Routine Military Training and Related Activity. ‌ For the purposes of the PA, routine military training is defined as those types of training actions regularly conducted in Army training areas. Activities related to military training include configuration, maintenance, and repair of the ranges, facilities, utilities and other infrastructure within training areas; explosive ordnance disposal; cultural resources management; natural resources management; and wildland fire management. This document addresses routine military training and related activity conducted at two installations on Hawai‘i Island. The installations are described in more detail in Section 3. The locations and extents of the installations are shown in Figure 1 and include: • Pōhakuloa Training Area (PTA), which consists of o Training Areas 1-23 o Ke‘āmuku Maneuver Area (KMA) o High Hazard Impact Area • Kawaihae Military Reservation (Kawaihae) The Army conducts routine military training both at the individual soldier level and collectively as units. Individual training is the foundation of unit readiness and incorporates the proficiencies of individuals to perform specific tasks related to an assigned position and skill level. This includes individual weapons qualification and a multitude of other tasks required of individual soldiers, such as physical readiness training. Collective training actions are conducted by all Army units, including infantry, aviation, and engineer brigades; combat support and combat service support units; and division artillery. Other organizations that may conduct training actions in Army training areas may include, but are not limited to: • Hawaiʻi Army National Guard • U.S. Army Reserves • U.S. Marine Corps • U.S. Airforce • U.S. Navy • Special Operations forces • Other federal agencieslaw enforcement • firefighters • invited foreign allies Any organization authorized to use Army training areas in Hawaiʻi will be subject to the requirements of the PA.

  • Employee Training and Discipline Contractor agrees to advise its personnel who have access to Medi-Cal PII of the confidentiality of the information, the safeguards required to protect the information, and the civil and criminal sanctions for non-compliance contained in applicable Federal and State laws.   • TRAINING AND RELATED MATTERS The parties recognise that in order to increase the efficiency and productivity of the company a significant commitment to structured training and skill development is required. Accordingly the parties commit themselves to:

  • Industrial Relations Training Leave 53.1 Union Delegate/Employee Representative shall have access to industrial relations training in accordance with Appendix E hereof.

  • Employee Travel 26.5.1 Upon being offered an assignment involving travel between two (2) or more work sites, a substitute teacher will be informed of the travel requirements.

  • Employee Training The Provider shall provide periodic security training to those of its employees who operate or have access to the system. Further, Provider shall provide LEA with contact information of an employee who LEA may contact if there are any security concerns or questions.

  • Supervisory or Military Service It is understood service with the Armed Forces of Canada in time of war or compulsory military service, or service with the Employer as a supervisory employee does not constitute a break in the continuous service and shall not affect an employee's seniority rights.

  • New Employee Orientations The County shall provide the Union written notice of County-wide new employee orientations, whether in person or online, at least ten (10) business days prior to the orientation. The notice shall include time, date, and location of the orientation. Representatives of the Union shall be permitted to meet with the new employees for up to thirty (30) minutes during a portion of the orientation for which attendance is mandatory. The Union shall provide the County at least five (5) business days prior to the orientation any materials it would like the County to distribute to new employees at the orientation. If the Union staff are unavailable, the County shall grant release time for one (1) union xxxxxxx to attend the orientation pursuant to Section 6.2.1 The County shall make best efforts to provide the Union with the name, job title, department, work location, work, home and personal cellular telephone numbers, personal email addresses, and home addresses of all employees in the bargaining unit every 90 days, but no less than once every 120 days.

  • EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM The District’s Educational Assistance Program will be continued during the life of this Agreement. Employees who wish to enroll in job-related and promotion oriented courses, which will improve their job knowledge, and performance will be compensated by the District for expenses as follows:

  • Employee Orientation Each and every person working for a contractor, including sub- contractors, will be given an orientation to familiarize them with the site safety program. Unless otherwise specified, each sub-contractor is responsible for the orientation of their workers.

  • Catastrophic Leave - Natural Disaster Upon request of an employee and upon approval of a department director or designee, leave credits (CTO, vacation, personal leave, annual leave, personal day, and/or holiday credit) shall be transferred from one or more employees to another employee, in accordance with departmental policies, under the following conditions:
