Rule of Five. 5) The Rule of Five (5) shall be interpreted as follows: For the first job opening available, five (5) eligible candidates will be interviewed. For each additional job opening, one (1) additional eligible candidate will be interviewed. For example, if there are three (3) job openings, seven (7) candidates will be interviewed. In the event of a tie score within the candidate pool to be interviewed, all candidates with the same score will be interviewed.
Rule of Five. The names of the five (5) employees receiving a passing score on promotional examination criteria shall be certified to the department head.
