Safe Work Site. The Customer warrants to Fencemakers that: (a) there are no hazards on the Site or near to the Site where Fencemakers is required to operate; (b) the Site complies with all occupation health and safety laws and requirements.

Safe Work Site. Contractor shall at all times maintain a clean and safe Work Site and provide its personnel with a safe place of employment. Contractor shall ensure the Work Site is kept free from Contractor-generated debris and waste.
Safe Work Site. The Contractor agrees to do the Work in a prudent manner, be responsible for the condition of the Work site and take all proper steps to carry out the Work in a safe manner.
Safe Work Site. An employee has the right to teach in a safe and secure environment that is free of dangers or hazards that are causing or are likely to cause injury. An employee has the right to have clear and present dangers removed from their classroom subject to the limitations of Pennsylvania statues and Federal law. In a case involving physical harm or threats of physical harm to the employee, and the employee is not satisfied with the disposition of the case at the building level, he/she shall have the right to a hearing in front of the Superintendent. If the employee is not satisfied with the disposition of the case after the hearing at the Superintendent’s level, he/she shall have the right to a hearing with the Board of School Directors who will rule on the disposition of the case.

  • Shift Work Shift work is work not in excess of ordinary hours (ie 38 hours per week), but carried out wholly or partly between the hours of 7.00pm and 7.00am, Monday to Friday. Shift work is work scheduled at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of the shift. Employees required to work shift work will be paid at time and one quarter of the ordinary rate per hour for ordinary hours worked.

  • Common Areas Tenant shall have the non-exclusive right to use in common with other tenants in the Project, and subject to the Rules and Regulations referred to in Article 5 of this Lease, those portions of the Project which are provided, from time to time, for use in common by Landlord, Tenant and any other tenants of the Project (such areas, together with such other portions of the Project designated by Landlord, in its discretion, including certain areas designated for the exclusive use of certain tenants, or to be shared by Landlord and certain tenants, are collectively referred to herein as the “Common Areas”). The Common Areas shall consist of the “Project Common Areas” and the “Building Common Areas.” The term “Project Common Areas,” as used in this Lease, shall mean the portion of the Project designated as such by Landlord or areas within the Project that the occupants of the Building are permitted to utilize pursuant to a recorded declaration and which areas shall be maintained in accordance with the declaration. The term “Building Common Areas,” as used in this Lease, shall mean the portions of the Common Areas located within the Building reasonably designated as such by Landlord. The manner in which the Common Areas are maintained and operated shall be at the reasonable discretion of Landlord and the use thereof shall be subject to the Rules and Regulations as Landlord may make from time to time. Landlord reserves the right to close temporarily, make alterations or additions to, or change the location of elements of the Project and the Common Areas, provided that, in connection therewith, Landlord shall perform such closures, alterations, additions or changes in a commercially reasonable manner and, in connection therewith, shall use commercially reasonable efforts to minimize any material interference with Tenant’s use of and access to the Premises.

  • Contract Work Contract work means capital project work within existing plant facilities, major maintenance and/or revamp work, plant modifications and/or shutdown work, minor maintenance and/or repair work, breakdown maintenance.
