SAFETY AND HEALTH COMMUNICATIONS. Seller will furnish to Buyer Material Safety Data Sheets which include health, safety and other hazard communication information on Product consistent with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Hazard Communications Standard. Seller will also furnish other health or safety information as available. Buyer will disseminate appropriate health and safety information to all persons Buyer foresees may be exposed to Product (including but not limited to Buyer’s employees, contractors and customers). If Product is further processed, mixed or incorporated into another product, Buyer will likewise disseminate appropriate health and safety information to all persons Buyer foresees may be exposed.

SAFETY AND HEALTH COMMUNICATIONS. 14.1. Buyer acknowledges that it has consulted Seller’s documents, including information set forth on Seller’s Material Safety Data Sheets regarding the Products and other technical bulletins and publications containing safety, health, handling and environmental hazard information concerning Products and their properties, that it has read and it understands such information, and that it agrees to incorporate such information into its personnel safety programs. 14.2. Buyer shall fully and adequately inform its employees, contractors, agents and other third parties who may become exposed to Products after delivery to Buyer hereunder, of any hazards associated with Products, and of the proper storage, handling and use procedures for Products, whether disclosed in such documents or in additional documents which are transmitted to Buyer during the term of the Agreement. 14.3. Buyer acknowledges its independent obligation to fully and adequately incorporate available information, including that supplied by Seller, into its product safety communications and to provide to all of its employees, contractors, agents and customers copies of such hazard communication documents. 14.4. If Products are further processed, mixed or incorporated into another product, Buyer shall likewise disseminate appropriate health and safety information to all persons Buyer reasonably foresees may be exposed.

Buyer shall disseminate to third parties, as required by applicable law, Material Safety Data Sheets which include health, safety and other hazard communication information on Styrene consistent with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Hazard Communications. If Styrene is further processed, mixed or incorporated into another product, Buyer shall furnish to third parties, as required by applicable law, Material Safety Data Sheets which include health, safety and other hazard communication information on such product consistent with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Hazard Communications Standard.

GFES shall fully and adequately inform its employees, contractors, agents and other third parties who may become exposed to Products after delivery to GFES hereunder, of any hazards associated with Products, and of the proper storage, handling and use procedures for Products, whether disclosed in such documents or in additional documents which are transmitted to GFES during the term of the Contract. GFES acknowledges its independent obligation to fully and adequately incorporate available information, such as that supplied by Chem Rock, into its product safety communications and to provide to all of its employees, contractors, agents and customers copies of such hazard communication documents. If Product is further processed, mixed or incorporated into another product, GFES shall likewise disseminate appropriate health and safety information to all persons GFES foresees may be exposed.
SAFETY AND HEALTH COMMUNICATIONS. Buyer shall furnish to all persons Buyer foresees may be exposed to Product (including but not limited to Buyer’s employees, contractors and customers) material safety data sheets that include all legally required health, safety and other hazard communication information on the Product consistent with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Hazard Communications Standard and other applicable laws. Any employees or agents of Supplier or its subcontractors that visit Buyer locations will comply with all safety and health rules and regulations communicated to such visitors, and any employees or agents of Buyer or its Affiliates that visit Supplier’s location will comply with all safety and health rules and regulations communicated to such visitors.

  • SAFETY AND HEALTH A. The Employer agrees to provide a safe, clean wholesome surrounding in all places of employment. B. Each Department head shall issue instructions to all supervisory personnel to carry out the provisions of this Article. C. When an employee reports any condition which he/she believes to be injurious to his/her health to the administrative head of a work location, the administrative head shall correct the situation if within his/her authority, or shall report said complaint to his/her supervisor. D. A copy of the provisions of this Article shall be conspicuously posted in each work location. E. In all new places of employment, where the Union alleges that the air quality is inferior, the person in charge of the location will make reasonable efforts to have air quality checked. If the air quality is found to be sub-standard, the person in charge of the location shall make reasonable efforts to improve it. F. Whenever temperature inside any work location is unusually hot or cold, the person in charge of such work location shall immediately contact the person responsible for the building to determine the cause and probable length of time necessary to correct the problem. G. The Employer will make every reasonable effort to xxxxx asbestos containing materials as recommended by the Division of Occupational Hygiene. Where such cleanup is not possible, the Employer will make every effort to avoid making work assignments, which will unduly expose employees to known hazardous materials. H. Pregnant employees who work in conditions/situations deemed hazardous or dangerous to the pregnancy by the attending physician may request a temporary reassignment within their job description or a comparable position, and may be reassigned within two (2) weeks of notification for the duration of the pregnancy. Upon request by management, the employee will provide medical evidence. Such work assignments shall be determined by the appointing authority or his/her designee. This request must be made in writing to the Appointing Authority. I. Grievances involving the interpretation or application of the provisions of this Article may be processed through Step III of the grievance procedure set forth in Article 23, but may not be the subject of arbitration. Section 19.2 The Parties agree to establish a program to monitor air quality at new and existing worksites. The parties agree to negotiate over the specific provisions of such a protocol within 60 days. Section 19.3 The parties agree to establish a safety and security committee to study all state buildings and leased property where state employees work. The mission of the study will be to establish more consistent safety and security policies to ensure the safety and security of all state employees at their work site and citizens of the Commonwealth that visit state agencies. In addition, the parties agree to establish a training program to promote the safety and security of all state employees that may include, but shall not be limited to active shooter training, front line security, and reception practices and protocol for 911 emergencies.

  • Safety and Health Committee The District's Safety and Health Committee shall include three (3) classified staff members appointed by ECCE who shall fully participate in the duties and functions of the Committee. The Safety and Health Committee shall normally meet on a monthly basis.

  • Occupational Safety and Health Acts Contractor(s) who perform any work under this contract shall fully comply with the provisions of the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 and any amendments thereto and regulations pursuant to the act. Any Contractor who fails to do so may be terminated for cause as set forth below.

  • OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH A. Consultant will perform the Services in compliance with the most current versions of all laws, standards, rules, and regulations of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, and all state and federal laws and regulations relating to safety and health standards. Consultant shall perform the Services in compliance with, will furnish only supplies, articles, and equipment that comply with such laws, standards, and regulations. B. Consultant shall immediately notify Valley Water in the event of any personal injury accident or occurrence occurring during the performance of the Services. Upon Valley Water’s request, Consultant shall provide Valley Water with documentation fully describing the accident and injury and the actions implemented to prevent similar occurrences.

  • Federal Occupational Safety and Health Law Contractor represents and warrants that all articles and services shall meet or exceed the safety standards established and promulgated under the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, as amended (29 U.S.C. Chapter 15).

  • COMPLIANCE WITH OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH By submission of a bid in response to this solicitation, the Bidder certifies that all material, equipment, etc., contained in their bid meets all OSHA requirements. Bidder further certifies that if they are the awarded Contractor, and the material, equipment, etc., delivered is subsequently found to be deficient in any OSHA requirements in effect on date of delivery, all costs necessary to bring the material, equipment, etc., into compliance with the aforementioned requirements shall be borne by the Contractor.

  • AND HEALTH The Employer shall comply with all applicable federal, territorial, and municipal health and safety legislation and regulations. All standards established under the legislation and regulations shall constitute minimum acceptable practice.

  • Occupational Health and Safety Act The Employer, the Union, and the Employees recognize they are bound by the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, S.N.S. 1996, c.7, and appropriate federal acts and regulations. Any breach of these obligations may be grieved pursuant to this Agreement.

  • Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Contractor understands that HHS does not tolerate any type of fraud, waste, or abuse. Violations of law, agency policies, or standards of ethical conduct will be investigated, and appropriate actions will be taken. Pursuant to Texas Government Code, Section 321.022, if the administrative head of a department or entity that is subject to audit by the state auditor has reasonable cause to believe that money received from the state by the department or entity or by a client or contractor of the department or entity may have been lost, misappropriated, or misused, or that other fraudulent or unlawful conduct has occurred in relation to the operation of the department or entity, the administrative head shall report the reason and basis for the belief to the Texas State Auditor’s Office (SAO). All employees or contractors who have reasonable cause to believe that fraud, waste, or abuse has occurred (including misconduct by any HHS employee, Grantee officer, agent, employee, or subcontractor that would constitute fraud, waste, or abuse) are required to immediately report the questioned activity to the Health and Human Services Commission's Office of Inspector General. Contractor agrees to comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and System Agency policies regarding fraud, waste, and abuse including, but not limited to, HHS Circular C-027.   • APPROVAL OF GENERAL COMMUNICATIONS Competitive Supplier shall cooperate with and assist the Town in the drafting and sending of messages and information to Eligible Consumers concerning the Program or any matter arising under or related to this Agreement or the Program. Competitive Supplier shall, prior to sending any direct mail, advertising, solicitation, bill insert, electronic mail, or other similar written or electronic communication (collectively, “General Communications”) to Participating Consumers (but excluding individually drafted or tailored communications responding to a specific complaint or communication of an individual consumer), provide a copy of such General Communication to the Town for its review (for consistency with the Town’s purposes and goals) and approval. The Town shall have the right to disapprove such General Communications and suggest revisions if it finds the communication inconsistent with the purposes and goals of the Town, factually inaccurate, or likely to mislead provided, however, that: (i) the communication shall be deemed approved if the Town fails to respond within ten (10) Business Days, and (ii) no approval shall be necessary for any communication (a) regarding any emergency situation involving any risk to the public health, safety or welfare; (b) that has been approved by the Department, the DOER; or (c) in the nature of routine monthly or periodic bills, or collection notices, except that any bill insert or message included at the bottom of such bill not within the scope of (a) or (b) above shall require advanced review and approval by the Town; and (iii) no approval or lack of approval shall relieve the Competitive Supplier of its obligations and responsibility for its actions and omissions under this Agreement, or other than as set forth in sub-clause ‘i’ of this Section 7.6, result in a waiver of any rights, remedies or defenses of the Town. The Town may reject or exclude any proposed General Communication that, in its reasonable judgment, is contrary to the interests and objectives of the Program or the Town.
