Common use of Safety Boots Clause in Contracts

Safety Boots. The Company will provide employees working in the Sanitation Department with steel-toed rubber boots as required. The Company will reimburse all non- sanitation employees once every twelve (12) calendar months up to two hundred ($200) dollars (effective April 1, 2021, two hundred and fifty ($250) dollars) towards the cost of CSA approved safety footwear including insoles upon presentation of an appropriate receipt for the purchase. The payment referred to above will only be paid to employees who have successfully completed their probationary period. Upon completion of the employee’s probationary period, the eligible employee will receive the boot allowance as noted above. It is understood that no employee will receive more than one payment of boot allowance in a continuous twelve (12) month period.
