Common use of Safety Equipment and Protective Clothing Clause in Contracts

Safety Equipment and Protective Clothing. When required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Board shall provide safety equipment and shall reimburse the cost for safety footwear up to a maximum of two hundred dollars ($200) every two (2) years. Such safety equipment shall be worn by the employees concerned as required by the Act following appropriate training in use and application. The Board shall provide warehouse and delivery clerks, print room staff and educational assistants with appropriate protective clothing when requested by the employee with appropriate training being given.
