Common use of Safety Equipment and Protective Clothing Clause in Contracts

Safety Equipment and Protective Clothing. The Employer agrees to supply such safety equipment and protective clothing that is communal to all Employees that is necessary, as determined by the Employer, to maintain safe working conditions. However, not to limit the generality of the foregoing, safety footwear shall be excluded. All equipment shall be maintained in a safe working order. In the event the Employee notices an unsafe condition or unsafe equipment, he/she will immediately report such to their immediate Supervisor. In the event no action is taken within twenty four (24) hours, the Employee should bring the matter to the attention of the Director of Operations.
