Common use of Safety in the Workplace Clause in Contracts

Safety in the Workplace. Health and safety standards will be maintained in all County facilities to a maximum degree consistent with the conduct of efficient operations. Departments without a Safety Committee may establish a committee within ninety (90) days of the effective date of this agreement. The Union will appoint all labor representatives to the Committee. All Safety Committees will schedule their meetings.
