Common use of Salaried Employees Clause in Contracts

Salaried Employees. a) An employee with an unauthorized absence from work on a regularly scheduled work day immediately prior to or following a paid holiday shall not be entitled to pay for the holiday. b) If an employee is on part-time status, entitlement shall be given on a pro-rated basis equivalent to the number of hours normally worked per week.
