Salary, Benefits, Vacation, Sick Leave, Holidays. The Fire Chief and/or Assistant chief, and/or Duty Officer shall at all times remain an employee of the Penryn Fire Protection District and the Penryn Board shall be responsible for setting and paying the salary and benefits of the Chief and/or Assistant Chief, and/or Duty Officer and providing the neces- sary workers compensation insurance for those positions. Newcastle shall provide ac- commodation for vacation, sick leave and holidays as permitted under the employment contract between the Chief and Penryn Fire Protection District, which shall be made available to Newcastle upon request.

Salary, Benefits, Vacation, Sick Leave, Holidays. The Fire Chief, Duty Chief(s), Fire Marshal, and District Manager shall remain employees of the Placer Hills Fire Protection District and the Placer Hills Board shall be responsible for setting and paying the salary and benefits of the Fire Chief, Duty Chief(s), Fire Marshal, and District Manager. Newcastle shall provide accommodation for vacation, sick leave and holidays as permitted under the employment contract between the Fire Chief and Placer Hills Fire Protection District, and as permitted under the policies and procedures of Placer Hills Fire Protection District. In the event of a long term absence of the Fire Chief (in excess of 30 days), both parties agree to determine alternatives to coverage including temporary suspension of this agreement as it pertains to the Fire Chief services.

  • Accrued Vacation It is further agreed by the parties hereto that, upon sale or transfer of ownership of any store or upon dissolution of business, vacation pay for all months worked for which no vacation pay has been given shall be immediately paid to all employees coming under this Agreement, regardless of length of time said employee has been with the Employer.

  • Sick Leave Benefits Sick leave is an indemnity benefit and not an acquired right. A Nurse who is absent from a scheduled shift on approved sick leave shall only be entitled to sick leave pay if the Nurse is not otherwise receiving pay for that day, and providing the Nurse has sufficient sick leave credits.

  • ANNUAL LEAVE (VACATION) A. Annual Leave days may be accumulated to a maximum of thirty (30) work days.

  • Vacation Benefits During the Term, the Executive shall be eligible for 20 vacation days annually, which shall be accrued and used in accordance with the applicable policies of the Company. During the Term, the Executive shall be eligible to participate in such medical, dental and life insurance, retirement and other plans as the Company may have or establish from time to time on terms and conditions applicable to other senior executives of the Company generally. The foregoing, however, shall not be construed to require the Company to establish any such plans or to prevent the modification or termination of such plans once established.

  • Sick Leave Benefit There are two types of sick leave benefits. Annual sick leave is the sick leave days credited each year to each employee in accordance with the provisions of the local collective bargaining agreements. Banked sick leave is previously accumulated unused sick leave to which unused annual sick leave may be added at the end of each anniversary year.

  • Sick Leave Pay A Nurse granted sick leave shall be paid for the period of such leave at her or his regular hourly rate of pay and the number of hours thus paid shall be deducted from the accumulated sick leave credits of the Nurse.

  • Sick Leave While on Vacation An employee who while on vacation is incapacitated for one (1) or more days due to personal illness or injury may charge such days to accrued sick leave. In such event, the employee promptly shall notify his department, and upon return to duty shall substantiate the need for, and use of, sick leave.

  • Sick Leave Bonus For every six (6) months of perfect sick leave attendance after July 1, 1987, the employee will receive eight (8) hours of bonus time. This bonus time will be prorated for part-time employees. Such bonus time can be used for any leave purpose covered by this Agreement. Such bonus time shall be counted as vacation leave credits for purposes of determining eligibility for carry- over and cash payments.

  • Accrued Sick Leave The Board shall provide all employees with a cumulative record 23 of accrued sick leave hours on each pay statement.

  • Vacation Leave on Retirement ‌ An employee scheduled to retire and to receive pension benefits under the Public Service Pension Plan Rules or who has reached the mandatory retiring age, shall be granted full vacation entitlement for the final calendar year of service.
