Sick Leave Bonus. Any paramedic using forty-eight (48) hours or less of sick leave in a calendar year shall be entitled to twenty-four (24) additional hours of leave to be taken during the next calendar year.
Sick Leave Bonus. As an incentive to eliminate unnecessary sick leave, a bonus shall be paid upon termination to employees with at least 2 years continuous service as at or after 1/7/2003 calculated as follows: (a) the bonus will be equal to 50% of the value of untaken sick leave accrued between the date of 1 July 2003 and termination. Sick Leave Bonus. Employees who are eligible for sick leave in accordance with Article 13.1 (ELIGIBILITY), who use no more than two hundred twenty (220) hours of sick leave each five (5) years, shall be granted a bonus of five (5) days vacation in addition to that granted under the provisions of Article 12.3 (ACCRUED VACATION), each five (5) years based on the following considerations: . On January 1, 1987, and January 1, of each fifth year thereafter, the sick leave records of those employees with hire dates prior to August 1, 1981, will be audited. Those employees who have used no more than two hundred twenty (220) hours of sick leave during the five (5) year period immediately preceding the audit will be granted five (5) days vacation to be taken within the twelve (12) month period immediately following the audit date and in accordance with the provisions of Article 12 (VACATIONS). . For employees hired after July 31, 1981, their sick leave records will be audited as of the first day following the completion of five (5) years and six (6) months of service and each fifth year following the initial audit. Those employees who have used no more than two hundred twenty (220) hours of sick leave during the five (5) year period immediately preceding the audit will be granted five (5) days vacation to be taken within the next twelve (12) month period immediately following the audit in accordance with Article 12 (VACATIONS). .   • Sick Leave means the period of time an employee is absent from work by virtue of being sick or disabled or because of an accident not covered by Workers' Compensation.

  • Accrued Base Salary means the amount of Executive's Base Salary which is accrued but not yet paid as of the Date of Termination.

  • Incentive Pay means an annual amount equal to the aggregate annual bonus, in addition to Base Pay, made or to be made in regard to services rendered in any calendar year or performance period pursuant to any bonus plan of the Company.

  • Average Incentive Compensation means the average of the annual incentive compensation under Subparagraph 3(a) received by Executive for the three (3) immediately preceding fiscal years or such fewer number of complete fiscal years as Executive may have been employed by the Company. In no event shall “Average Incentive Compensation” include any sign-on bonus, retention bonus or any other special bonus. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if the Executive breaches any of the provisions contained in Paragraphs 4 and 5 of this Agreement, all payments of the Severance Amount shall immediately cease. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event Executive terminates his employment for Good Reason as provided in Subparagraph 6(e), he shall be entitled to the Severance Amount only if he provides the Notice of Termination provided for in Subparagraph 6(f) within thirty (30) days after the occurrence of the event or events which constitute such Good Reason as specified in clauses (A), (B), (C), (D), (E) and (F) of Subparagraph 6(e);

  • Annual Salary means the salary given under this Part.

  • Base Salary shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3(a) hereof.

  • Normal salary means the salary that would be paid to a participating employee if that person was not participating in a Plan and includes salary expressed as an annual rate, fortnightly rate, weekly rate, daily rate or hourly rate. It includes all allowances that are paid as an annual rate, fortnightly rate, weekly rate, daily rate or hourly rate but not overtime payments and shift work penalty rates unless they are paid as a component of an annualised rate.

  • Base Compensation means the amount equal to the sum of (i) the greater of Executive’s then-current Annual Base Salary or Executive’s Annual Base Salary as of the date one (1) day prior to the Change of Control; and (ii) the average of the Incentive Bonus paid (or payable) for the three (3) most recently completed fiscal years of the Company.
