Common use of Salary Guide Clause in Contracts

Salary Guide. 7.3.1 New employees with less than two (2) years of comparable experience shall receive placement on Step A. 7.3.1.1 Any current, regular employee hired into a higher classification will be placed at a step that results in at least a five percent (5%) base salary increase, not to exceed Step F. In such cases, longevity pay applies regardless of step placement in the higher classification.
