Common use of Sale, Merger or Transfer Clause in Contracts

Sale, Merger or Transfer. In the event the Medical Center merges, is sold, leased, or otherwise transferred to be operated by another person or firm, the Medical Center shall have an affirmative duty to call this Agreement to the attention of such firm or individual and, if such notice is so given, the Medical Center shall have no further obligation hereunder. The Medical Center will also provide notice to the Association of any such sale, lease or transfer at least ninety (90) days prior to the closing date.
