SCENARIOS AND USE CASES Sample Clauses

SCENARIOS AND USE CASES. The Analysis of the state of the art in VCPs in section 6.2, as well as the Inquire phase reported in section 6.3, have provided a variety of information sources for understanding the potential affordances of VCPs in general, as well as the specific requirements and expectations for VCPs in the specific sector of Home Healthcare. The analysis of these information sources (see Figure 4Errore. L'origine riferimento non è stata trovata.) has helped in the identification of the main set of functional features that would be needed for a technical platform supporting the envisioned VCP for Home Healthcare. Such technical platform will be developed within the CARESS Work Package 5 (“Pilots Implementation: Virtual Communities of Practice (VCP) Building and Support”).

SCENARIOS AND USE CASES. These are the use cases for a physical network manager (i.e. a NOC) that may be providing a logical network toward users.
SCENARIOS AND USE CASES. There are different ways to create virtual machines that can fit in FEDERICA requirements. In this sense, three main scenarios have been specified: a. The user requests a VM with a specific configuration. The user also tells to the NOC which software wants installed in the Virtual Machine (there are different programs and OSs available at the FEDERICA NOC that the end user can select). The NOC creates the VM with the hardware configuration specified by the end user and installs all the software he has requested. Finally, the NOC delegates the control of the virtual machine to the end user. b. The user creates a CD iso image with the OS and the software he wants to install in his virtual machine. He uploads this iso image to the FEDERICA infrastructure (it is stored in a centralized Network File System). Then he asks the NOC admin for a blank virtual machine (without any software installed) with a specific hardware configuration. Also he specifies that he wants to install in this virtual machine the iso image he has previously uploaded. The NOC admin creates this virtual machine with the hardware configuration specified by the end user and associates the iso image previously uploaded as the main CD-ROM of the virtual machine. After that, the NOC admin powers on the virtual machine and force it to block at the BIOS setup. Then the NOC admin lets the end user access this virtual machine (with VNC for example). Finally the end user changes the boot sequence to boot first from the main CD- ROM (it is a virtual CD-ROM, the iso image that has been previously uploaded by the end user) and installs the iso image he has created at the beginning. Finally he gets a virtual machine with all the software he wanted. c. There are some virtual machine templates available. A virtual machine template is a virtual machine with a basic OS installation and some specific software (for example, Ubuntu Desktop 8.10 with VLC installed). Also this virtual machine has the enough hardware, not more, in order to run this OS and software. The end user requests a copy of one of these templates with a new hardware specification (this hardware specification has always equal or more resources that the basic template has). The NOC admin performs the copy of this template with the new hardware configuration and configures remote access for the end user. The end user finally gets the control of a virtual machine with the same software and OS installed that the chosen template but with the hard...
SCENARIOS AND USE CASES. These are the use cases for the user to whom a logical IP network has been assigned. The operations may only be carried out on the logical routers to which the user has access.

  • Proposed Policies and Procedures Regarding New Online Content and Functionality By October 31, 2017, the School will submit to OCR for its review and approval proposed policies and procedures (“the Plan for New Content”) to ensure that all new, newly-added, or modified online content and functionality will be accessible to people with disabilities as measured by conformance to the Benchmarks for Measuring Accessibility set forth above, except where doing so would impose a fundamental alteration or undue burden. a) When fundamental alteration or undue burden defenses apply, the Plan for New Content will require the School to provide equally effective alternative access. The Plan for New Content will require the School, in providing equally effective alternate access, to take any actions that do not result in a fundamental alteration or undue financial and administrative burdens, but nevertheless ensure that, to the maximum extent possible, individuals with disabilities receive the same benefits or services as their nondisabled peers. To provide equally effective alternate access, alternates are not required to produce the identical result or level of achievement for persons with and without disabilities, but must afford persons with disabilities equal opportunity to obtain the same result, to gain the same benefit, or to reach the same level of achievement, in the most integrated setting appropriate to the person’s needs. b) The Plan for New Content must include sufficient quality assurance procedures, backed by adequate personnel and financial resources, for full implementation. This provision also applies to the School’s online content and functionality developed by, maintained by, or offered through a third-party vendor or by using open sources. c) Within thirty (30) days of receiving OCR’s approval of the Plan for New Content, the School will officially adopt, and fully implement the amended policies and procedures.
