This Agreement shall commence upon execution of the Agreement by both parties and shall absolutely terminate on June 30, of each year without further obligation on the part of County at the close of the calendar year in which it is executed and at the close of each succeeding year for which it may be renewed. This contract may be renewed by the parties for up to four (4) additional one year periods. In the event of termination of this Agreement by Contractor or by the Court, the Contractor shall be entitled to receive payment only for verified work actually performed prior to termination. The Contractor warrants that no person or selling agency has been employed or retained to solicit or secure this Agreement upon an agreement or understanding for a commission, percentage, brokerage, or contingent fee, excepting bona fide employees or bona fide established commercial or selling agencies maintained by Contractor for the purpose of securing business and that the Contractor has not received any non-County fee related to this Agreement without the prior written consent of the County.
