Scheduling Limitations. Unless otherwise specified in this article, the following shall always apply: (a) The regular shift in any schedule shall not exceed 10 hours, exclusive of meal periods. In the case of Laboratory Assistants and Laboratory Health Science Officers employed in operations where the workload varies considerably within a week, the equitable rotation of days of rest shall be scheduled to ensure adequate staffing on peak workload days. (h) Where that is more than one shift, as defined in Clause 15.1 of the Main Public Service Agreement, employees shall rotate these shifts on an equitable basis.
